Take a step back and survey the domestic and foreign policy wasteland that is the BushCo presidency. When Bush was installed in the White House, you knew it was going to be really, really bad. But I defy any of you to tell me that you knew it would be THIS FUCKING BAD. Holy shit.

Adding to this surreal nightmare is a mainstream media that treats this fucking mess as fairly routine political and geopolitical turbulence. Sure, Bush is a beleaguered leader, they acknowledge, but Americans generally like their “beer buddy” president.

I am so ashamed for humanity.
