Clean House
I apologize for the rather brief and unimaginative content of this blog lately. That fact is I just don’t have as much time to devote to this thing as I used to. My job pretty much kicks my ass all day long. Another reason for the thinness of the content here is that I’m simply running out of ways to express just how fucked up things are in this world right now. Luckily there are some excellent blogs linked to your right that are operated by full-time bloggers who do excellent work.
There is a question that has been nagging the crap out of me, though.
Just how long will this country be permitted to suck?
After five agonizing years, most of the country (idiotic bitter-enders excluded) finally realizes that BushCo (the administration and its henchmen in the legislative and judicial branches) is the worst government this country has ever had.
Well, okay, now that most of us are in agreement over that undeniable fact, are our elected representatives just going to let it continue? Will there be no concrete and measurable consequences for the blatant lies and incompetence of these criminals? The fact that these animals achieved office in the first place represents one of this country’s greatest and most embarrassing failures. But it’s looking like this disaster will continue for years to come. Bush will limp to 2009.
That is fucking absurd.
It’s time for a major house-cleaning. And that house-cleaning should include the removal of every last Democrat who voted to give BushCo authorization to invade Iraq—Kerry, Edwards, Clinton—every cowardly, opportunistic, corporate-sponsored whore who is complicit in this grave crisis we find ourselves in. I will not defend these people. They were our only protection against the tyranny of BushCo, and they failed us completely.
Out with the whole lot of criminals and criminal enablers.
In my dreams.
