Are We There Yet?

Of course I am encouraged when I see ordinary people and members of the MSM waking up to what anyone with the intellectual capacity of a fourteen-year-old should have known before these fucks ever achieved office: that BushCo and the Republican Party are thoroughly corrupt, lying, incompetent scum.

(Mysteriously, this awakening still eludes the blind dolts of planet Sixhertz, who remain in the murky darkness that accompanies the affliction known as head-in-ass. Jesus, you guys are fucking thick. But I digrees.)

Anyway, the past five years have been surreal and sickening. That there has even been a debate about BushCo is a historical embarrassment. Watching David Brooks, Tom Friedman, or any number of “pundit-intellectuals” trying to nuance the Bush record has been beyond painful. Shit, if these people were transported back to Hitler’s Germany they’d probably attempt to drop a silver lining on that horror show.

So yeah, it’s good to see the awakening, but whatever caused it to take so long is unforgivable. You don’t get on the highway to get to the corner drug store. And you don’t spend five years giving the benefit of the doubt to the worst government in the history of this country.

These people should all be flogged for their stupidity/complicity.
