Let’s hope they deliver.

Update: Not surprisingly, it’s about Guckert’s former life as a male prostitute. My first impressions are not good. Of course it is scandalous that a White House that claims to be a citadel of morality let a male whore question the president, and apparently gave the said whore access to classified CIA information.

If this weren't bizzaro BushAmerica, this would be a huge story.

But this lurid expose will play right into the wingnut narrative of bloggers-as-sexual-lynch mob. The RW spin machine (as manifested in the MSM) is going to make a meal of this (or possibly just ignore it into oblivion). The Rethuglicans will successfully spin this to their advantage—as sickening and unbelievable as that sounds. Hell, they turned a genuine war hero into a communist traitor; they turned a sniveling, drunken, coked-out frat boy deserter into an American hero. Now the real sexual witch-hunters will turn the tables and pin the sexual-witch-hunter label on not only the left bloggers, but all liberals.

Hope I'm wrong.
