I came “acrossed” this during a conversation with my mom and sister about commonly mispronounced words and phrases. My mom—who I mentioned earlier hates how Bush pronounces “nuclear” as “nookular”— just loved it, so I thought I’d share.

One of my personal pet peeves is the mispronunciation of “escape” as “ecscape.” Drives me batshit.
