Seymour Hersh says the US government has videotapes of boys being sodomized at Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq.

"The worst is the soundtrack of the boys shrieking," the reporter told an ACLU convention last week. Hersh says there was "a massive amount of criminal wrongdoing that was covered up at the highest command out there, and higher."

In case you are not familiar with him, Seymour Hersh is considered by serious journalists to be the best investigative reporter in the business. This is the guy who blew the lid off the My Lai Massacre. In other words, he is no partisan hack. If he's got the goods, he's got the goods.

So how long can the state-sponsored propaganda organizations keep this thing out of the headlines?

I suppose for just as long as your elected representatives--on both sides of the aisle--can cover for the murdering, torturing, lying Bush Gang.
