Hello from Arcata, Humboldt County, glorious Northern California, my favorite place in the world.

I'm here doing research for a paper I'll be giving this fall. But how am I supposed to do research when I'll I want to do is soak in the beautiful sites and memories of this place? After all, this is where I spent three of the best years of my life, where discovered my love for history, where I made lifelong friends, and, most importantly, where I met my future wife. I guess I'll just have to do both in my short time here.
