Bumper Stickers

There was an interesting discussion on Democratic Underground today about political bumper stickers. Some people are reluctant to place Kerry or anti-Bush stickers on their car for fear that some wingnut will vandalize or destroy the vehicle. Given the preponderance of idiots out there, this is understandable. I recently placed a “Kerry for President” bumper sticker on my car, and the thought of some Bush asshole taking a key to it—or worse— certainly crossed my mind. I’ve read about this kind of shit happening.

But you know what? Screw these assholes.

Damn if I’m going to abrogate my right advertise my chosen candidate or my political affiliation on my vehicle because some knuckle-dragging Bushbot might vandalize it.

I can’t believe it has come to this. This is 1930s-Germany shit. Bush brownshirts abound.

And I don’t even want to get into the fact that the candidate displayed on my bumper has turned his back on his own party and has been begging a Bush Republican to be his VP.

Fuckin’ A.
